Health & Healing with Meditation

Meditation is one of the best aids that we all have access to, and is so powerful that everyday more and more people are starting to take advantage of meditation.

You don't have to be a Yogi to meditate. Everyone can do it, regardless of age, ethnicity, or background. The key to meditation is the breathing patterns and clearing of the mind. Usually, when a person starts to partake in meditation, they start to get bombarded with thoughts coming from all directions. That is completely normal, and with time you will be able to control those thoughts or simply let them pass by. The idea is to not get distracted with every passing thought that you get.

*Helps with focus & concentration
*Awareness and clarity
*Increases blood flow and slows the heart rate
*Harmonizes our endocrine system
*Relaxes our nervous system

Those are just a small fraction of the benefits of meditation. Basically it's the best way to maintain natural health, physically, psychologically and spiritually. No matter what you are going through in your life whether good or bad, you can not go wrong with meditation. I have been meditating for quite some years now. I do not meditate everyday yet, however it is recommended. In the morning is the best time, before eating anything. Of course you can meditate anytime of the day. As long as you can do so without being distracted or disturbed. It's suggested that you don't meditate on a full stomach or right after eating.


How to Meditate

I have read and come across a lot of books based on meditation. Normally one would think that the only
way to go about it is to sit on the floor with your legs crossed in the lotus position. This is the way that has been done for centuries but it is not the only way. You can sit on a chair and meditate,you can even lay down. Not everyone has the flexibility to meditate in the lotus position, I certainly don't. So whatever is the easiest way for you is the best way to do it.

So the next part is breathing. Breathing in a certain way is what starts to initiate your mind to go into alpha mode, which means its slows down your brain waves. In a typical day, as humans, we operate at a beta level, which is for reacting, thinking, just being on our toes and being alert. We live in a reality that appears to be on auto-pilot, not everyone, but a substantial portion of the population.

You wake up, get ready for work, leave to work, come back home, eat something, watch t.v. or any other type of entertainment, and do it all over again the next day. That consists of us being on beta mode.However, when you come home to relax after a busy or hectic day, you tend to sit back and relax. Naturally, you go into alpha mode by just relaxing, that's why its easy for our subconscious mind to store all the negativity from the news and media when your watching this on the television, 
it's an easy way for fear to be injected into you. In alpha mode or at a lower brain wave state of mind, your subconscious mind has access to store thoughts and ideas, even personal goals.

Subliminal messages and binaural beats work when you want to program yourself in the right way. I will get into that type of topic in a different post.

In any case, back to the breathing...

The best way to breath when your in meditation mode, is breathing through your nose in a slow and smooth matter, and exhaling slowing out your mouth. That's all you want to focus on,is your breathing. This allows you to not get distracted from other thoughts. Just simply focus on the rhythm of your breathing. You might want to start with only 5 minutes if your new at meditation, and eventually increase the amount of time that you meditate. As long as you do it at your own comfort is what matters.


There is different ways to go about meditating, such as visualization, and deep breathing techniques which can be intermediate - advanced, and you can always learn that in the future. For now, I suggest just doing the slow rhythmic inhaling and exhaling breathing. After a couple days of meditation, you will notice the subtle changes in your overall health, physically and mentally.

I believe it is important and vital for all of us to use meditation whenever possible, the benefits to our health are invaluable when you incorporate meditation into your life.

Natural Cure Remedies with Lime

Limes limes limes! the citrus fruit that can do wonders for the physical body. Limes contain a very good source of vitamin C, such as other fruits, but I'll just be talking about limes in this post.

Since limes are enriched in vitamin C, it acts as a natural disinfectant helping you to lose weight. If your someone who has had difficulty in losing weight or losing belly fat, limes might just be the key for you to start seeing some real results.

The simple most accessible and overlooked things in life, such as fruits and water, can be the most powerful way to get healthy and to avoid dis-ease. I know we live in a country that regulates health by having you believe that the only way to get healthy is by going to a medic or to your doctor so they can diagnose the health issue, and then prescribe to you a certain type of medication, pill, or sometimes they'll suggest surgery for the solution. Now I am not a doctor or medic but I'm someone who speaks off of my own experience and results when it comes to alternative medicine.

As human beings, I know for a fact that we have the capacity to cure any disease that lives
within us. One important factor to really inner-stand is, do not let fear get the best of you.

Fear can definitely lead to stress, or vice-versa, and that in itself can be the ultimate killer.
Your mind has a lot to do on how you manage your own health.



Benefits of Lime

This information on limes has been obtained from a book that I have had for quite some time. The book is in Spanish and the title is "Curacion por el Limon" which basically means "curing with lime". It's a great guide to have, and I'm just going to mention a few health aspects off of the book.

The juice within a lime contains citric acid, just like oranges, cherries, and many other fruits.
However, the lime is the most powerful when it comes to curing your health..no joke!


Lime contains a substance that stimulates your organic functions, such as your circulation, respiratory and nervous system. Lime has also demonstrated it can definitely be the perfect alliance for healthy hair and skin. I'm telling you, I love limes for all the benefits it has, and not only does it cure disease, lime helps to prevent disease and sickness.

I hope by now that you can see the indispensable value in limes. One simple method that I personally use all the time is... I take about 3 - 4 limes, and I simply squeeze all the juice out into a cup, and the I fill it up with about 12 ounces of water. If you don't want it to taste very sour or bitter, you can use less lime or more water. The more lime you use the better.
Of course you do not want to over do it, lime is powerful and anything in excess sometimes is not good.
You can shock your body if all of a sudden you start to drink a lot of natural lime juice, when you have
previously had drank nothing but soda, beer, or anything like that, so I would say it's smart to start off slow, and the gradually increase the amount of lime you consume.



Just a few diseases that limes can cure based off of the lime book that I own..

*Colds and the Flu
*Gingivitis
*Arthritis
*Alcoholism + Smoking
*Insomnia
*Diabetes

Those are just a small fraction of diseases that lime can cure. Especially when it comes to losing weight naturally and losing that stubborn belly fat that you might have hanging around. Improve your Eyesight Naturally

Exercises for the Eyes

A good natural healthy way to improve, maintain and restore better vision is through eye exercises. By simply massaging certain areas around the eye, you dramatically see the difference and improvement in your eyesight.

I know everyone is different, for instance I'm near sighted, and I really struggle to see and read words from a distance, but when I actually started doing eye exercises for a week, I sure did see progress in my eye sight.
The key is to make these eye exercises a part of your daily life, or as much as possible. By eating fruits that are enriched with vitamin A certainly does help as well, especially while implementing the simple eye exercises.


"Lack of vitamin A can cause poor vision, including night vision, and vision can be restored by adding it back into the diet". I've tried one particular vitamin supplement for the eyes called "Ocuguard Plus W/Lutein". I picked it up at a small herbal shop not too far from my house. I bought for about "$25.00 bucks. I definitely recommend it, I saw some good progress while taking it for about a month.

You can find "Ocuguard Plus W/Lutein" and other great similar products at your local health and herb shops, or online at sites such as vitamin world and vitamin shoppe. You don't need to rely on eye supplements if you can just simply incorporate these natural eye exercises in your life on a daily basis.

The best way for me to convey these eye exercises, is by having the link directly to the video where I learned the eye exercises from. The lady in the video, Jane Kabarguina always had to wear glasses, and no longer needs them due to simply applying these eye exercises.
